Midland fair havens is a faith-based, non-profit organization that provides supportive services to determined single mothers and their children, so that they may become healthy, self-sufficient families. These include secure housing, vocational and life skills education, case management, and basic needs assistance.midland fair havens services women with children who are homeless or who are in danger of becoming homeless. Even though they are coming from different types of backgrounds and situations, all of these mothers are highly motivated to make the necessary lifestyle changes that will lead to a stable home life. They leave unhealthy relationships and environments to further their education, learn crucial life skills and strengthen themselves emotionally and spiritually so that they can build a brighter future for their families.

Programs

2 programs

The Midland Fair Havens Outreach Program provides parenting classes to the community. Our desire is to equip mothers, fathers, grandparents, and family members with tools they need raise great kids and create a balanced and happy family life. Anyone raising children may attend these classes to learn more about child development, problem solving, behavior management, and much more! In addition, our outreach program offers professional development training opportunities to agencies within our community.

The Midland Fair Havens Non-Residential Program provides individual needs assessment with Information and referral to community resources for basic needs assistance, financial assistance with rent and utilities to prevent homelessness and personal guidance for long term solutions to families in crisis situations.
