The laying hen & turkey research program (lhtrp) was created to effectively address research needs of the poultry industry through a competitive process. The goal is to imporove efficiency and sustainability of poultry production through integrated, collaborate research and technology transfer.
The midwest poultry consortium's regulatory/legislative program has been established to secure funding for the midwest poultry research program (mprp) and to keep legislators and agency staff informed of the need for and results of the competitive research program.
