MIGIZI acts as a circle of support that nurtures the development of American Indian youth in education, employment, and cultural and social connectivity, and advances a message of success, well-being, and justice.
Programs

Green Tech Institute: A career pathway program that trains youth ages 14-21 in STEM education dedicated to sustainable green energies that includes solar, energy, pollution, transportation and other green energy concepts that lead to careers in the field. Youth are in this paid training for up to 60 hours over 9 weeks after school. In the summer we partner with Step Up Minneapolis and Right Track St. Paul to employee 15 youth over 9 weeks for up to 200 hours. Youth may pursue an internship with a partner organization or within MIGIZI for contracted projects once training is complete.
First Person Productions:A career pathway program that trains youth ages 14-21 in media careers that includes film, photography, graphic design, podcasting, radio and social media and marketing. Youth are in this paid training for up to 60 hours over 9 weeks after school. Best Buy Teen Tech Center:Through the Best Buy Teen Tech Center, MIGIZI provides hands-on learning opportunities in technology which includes recording studio, vinyl press, vinyl cutter, adobe design and many other tools to help MIGIZI provide equal access to technology that opens a wide world of opportunities. In the BBTTC, students can work on academic assignments and career training projects that will develop their skills as leaders in technology.
