The Client Support Services Project takes about 12% of staff time and organizational resources. This program provides individualized needs-assessments, referrals, and case management to current legal clients of the MICA Project. When available (such as during the pandemic), direct support is distributed to clients in the form of cash payments.
The Community Outreach Project takes about 8% of staff time and organizational resources. The primary focus of this project is forming relationships and providing resources to immigrant communities. The staff made presentations to immigrant communities about their constitutional rights and specific immigration remedies that are available. The organization also spoke and participated in other community events.
