Milestones' mission is to improve the lives of autistic individuals, families, caregivers and professionals by educating, coaching, and connecting them with trusted resources. Milestones envisions a community in which autistic individuals reach their full potential as integrated members of society, with their needs supported and their abilities, strengths, and voices valued. Founded in 2003 by parents seeking to improve the programming available for their children with autism, milestones autism resources is the premier resource in northeast ohio for information about the needs of individuals with autism from birth through adulthood, offering guidance to get you through the day and help you plan for the future. Programs

Training we provide training in doctrine, incorporating trauma-informed care, for first responders, hospital staff, medical students, and adult service providers. We also partner with businesses to create a more inclusive workplace and community. In fy24, 1,847 people participated in customized training ranging from school districts and agencies to professional organizations.
Helpdesk and other the free helpdesk service connects families, autistic adults, and community professionals with tailored plans and verified resources. Our bilingual helpdesk team (english and spanish) helps individuals navigate services, resources, and common questions - cutting through the confusion of the system to provide clarity, direction, and meaningful next steps. We served over 872 people in fy24 the organization's website hosts a comprehensive database of resources covering educational, therapeutic, medical, and recreational services. It includes features like guiding questions, autism tool kits, and the milestones autism planning (map) tool to help users access the tools they need when they need them. We had 200,400 active users in fy24.
