The Innovation Lab is a cross-partisan hub for policy education and bridge-building that connects young lawmakers with diverse experts on the issues that matter most to their constituents. Through resources like a policy library, live briefings, on-demand expertise, and collaborative working groups, it equips legislators with unbiased ideas and practical tools to be more effective problem-solvers. The Lab also fosters healthy dialogue and innovative thinking, helping emerging leaders advance solutions and rebuild trust in democratic institutions. Through Innovation Fellowships, cross-partisan cohorts of lawmakers dive deeper into complex policy challenges with expert support, research, and a strong peer network to strengthen their impact in state legislatures.

Future Caucus' State Future Caucus Network is made up of over 1,900 state lawmakers and 36 state chapters, each co-chaired by two bipartisan Gen Z or millennial lawmakers. The Network is dedicated to creating a space for connection, dialogue, and collaborative policymaking. Each caucus advances a bipartisan policy agenda focused on solutions to the challenges facing future generations. Future Caucus also connects state lawmakers to their peers across state lines through both virtual and in-person programming.

Future Caucus developed a digital leadership curriculum specifically tailored to meet the needs of young legislators. This suite of training programs focuses on leadership skills, mental well-being, and bridge- building, empowering them to be effective leaders ready to cultivate bipartisan relationships.

The annual Rising Star Awards ceremony recognizes young leaders who embody Future Caucus' vision of transcending toxic polarization, and one outstanding state Future Caucus for their future-focused leadership and political bridge-building. In 2024, Future Caucus also celebrated two generational changemakers, Paris Hilton and Sophia Bush, for their positive leadership.

The On the Rise Tour included visits to 14 states to help jumpstart productive legislative sessions by bringing together newly elected and current young lawmakers to connect across the aisle, learn about the Future Caucus Network, and identify shared policy priorities.

The Young Lawmakers' Storybank is a curated, searchable collection designed to showcase stories of collaboration and examples of good governance to reporters and the public. The Storybank's interviews, videos, and articles fall into six categories: Anatomy of a Bill, Beyond the Bubble, Future's Frontline, Policy Impacts, Field Notes, and Profiles of Effective Lawmakers.

The Congressional Future Caucus, chaired by U.S. Representatives Sara Jacobs (D-CA) and Blake Moore (R-UT), is our nation's first and only bipartisan caucus for young Members of Congress. The Congressional Future Caucus is a space for a rising generation of lawmakers to build a network, gain leadership skills, and develop the resiliency needed to navigate the toxic polarization of our current political environment in order to achieve success on issues that matter to their constituents.

The 19th Collective is a bipartisan community of Gen Z and millennial women legislators committed to leadership, collaboration, and advocacy, inspired by the legacy of the 19th Amendment. Created in response to young women lawmakers seeking deeper connection and support, the Collective provides a space to build skills, share knowledge, and strengthen their impact in public service. It also fosters a strong sense of community through networking, mentorship, and camaraderie that extends beyond formal programming.

Our 2024 On the Rise Report aims to better understand the trends and demographics of the rising generation of leaders-the individuals who will shape our future. This biannual, election-year report analyzes a wide range of demographic data, including age, generation, gender, and political-party affiliation, for candidates for Congress, with a focus on generational patterns. As the only report of its kind, it serves as a key resource for academics, journalists, advocates, and policymakers.
