Mission
Minding your mind's objective is to improve the lives of adolescents and young adults who may be struggling with their mental health . The mission is to reduce stigma and destructive behaviors often associated with mental health issues and to promote help seeking behavior in youth through education. To that end, minding your mind provides in school and community wide emotional wellness and mental health education programs aimed at students kindergarten through college age, their parents, teachers and caregivers. Additionally, minding your mind facilitates multiple best practice registry suicide prevention education programs for teachers, faculty and school administrators. Programs move away from crisis based response to prevention through education, and are available both in person and online.
