Minds Matter Boston (MMB) connects driven and determined students from low-income families with the people, preparation, and possibilities to succeed in college, create their future, and change the world. MMB believes in the power and potential of our students and refuses to be complacent to the systemic inequities that currently exist for our students. Though structural & socioeconomic forces have historically deprived them of opportunities that prepare them for higher education, MMB students courageously defy the odds. The program is typically 3 years in length (grades 10 - 12) and provides a comprehensive curriculum to prepare its students for college. MMB's program provides wrap-around services, including 2:1 mentoring, professional ACT and writing instruction, access to college-immersion summer programs, and personalized college advising, to ensure that these promising students have equal opportunity to gain admission to, enroll in, and graduate from competitive four-year colleges
