The Minnesota Head Start Association (MHSA) utilizes its Executive Director to build partnerships with state and national organizations that are working to strengthen early childhood opportunities for families and young children. The Executive Director represents the Head Start community on Early Childhood consortiums and planning committees to advance the science of early care and education. The Organizations office is in greater Minnesota (Duluth, MN) and the Director travels around the state to connect with Head Start providers, partners and policymakers. The Executive Director is also actively engaged in MHSAs effors to support collaborative initiatives to reduce educational and health disparities for families with young children growing up in poverty in Minnesota.
