Awarded matching funds to projects to develop or maintain equine trails in state forests and parks. Paid expenses to staff to work on trails development and printed materials and attended events to promote use of these trails.

Awarded direct funding monies to non-profit equine-related organizations for educational clinics, similar events, and for small capital improvements to equine facilities. Printed and distributed materials about availability of these grants. Awarded disaster funds to non-profit equine organizations to assist in caring for horses during natural disaster events.
