Mission

Mity's mission is to inspire and challenge intellectually curious students to pursue their passions within a diverse, inclusive community and empower them by building skills and relationships for lifelong success. Mity provides academic enrichment programs to advanced 1st-11th grade students during the summer and on saturday mornings.

Mity's explorschool program served 276 students entering grades 6-8, a 27% increase from the prior year. Approximately 20% of students identified as bipoc, 50% were female, and 11% received financial aid. Participants connected with like-minded peers from 117 different schools. Students chose from nearly 40 unique classes and were empowered to pursue their passions through small class sizes, expert teachers, field trips, and guest speakers. Ninety-six percent of families would recommend mity to others and 93% of students reported feeling a "sense of belonging" at mity.
