Mission
Purpose is to advance the profession of music teachers in minnesota through education, certification, networking, and advocacy. To further this purpose the association may sponsor programs to enrich musical education and encourage musical performance.

Piano educational programs - exam events were offered to test and improve skills relating to keyboard skills, sightplaying, piano, and music theory. 1,976 students participated in these exam events.
The mn music teachers annual convention promotes professional excellence among teachers in the state. 10 various break-out sessions were offered during the convention and 143 teachers attended the event.
