To provide an ongoing organized forum on the duluth, missabe & iron range railway from a railfan and modeler perspective. This includes the collection and distribution of historical and current events information about the missabe and its predecessors, and the industries it touches, including other mining railroads, mining operations, local industry, great lakes shipping, and interchange rail carriers.
