Mission

Mission marshall seeks to address the broader needs of the whole person. Through partnerships with other area charitable organizations, we seek to identify, recruit, and walk alongside those who desire long term transformation affecting the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs. We seek to partner with individuals and families, empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and become productive.

Mission marshall has cooperative agreements with the east texas foodbank to provide fresh produce to families in harrison and marion countywho are in need. Additionally, mission marshall supplies non-perishablegrocery items, frozen meat, and miscellaneous refrigerated food items to approximately 1,100 households a month through our food pantry programs. About 8,800 individuals are served by mission marshall each year.

Expenses: $264K

Literacy programs - read-to-ride provides a new bicycle to every marshall isd, waskon isd, and elysian fields isd third grade student who meets the reading challenge. We continue to sponsor dolly parton imagination library. Every child enrolled receives one age-appropriate book per month, from birth to age five. 6 little libraries are located throughout town to facilitate reading accessibility.
