Faith-Based Advocacy and Public Engagement: Mission Talk advances civic engagement and collective advocacy among Latino evangelical communities throughout Florida. In February 2024, the organization partnered with FRACEEV to coordinate transportation and participation for over 500 bishops, pastors, and lay leaders traveling on chartered buses to the Florida State Capitol in Tallahassee. The gathering combined prayer, education, and advocacy around issues impacting immigrant and working-class families. Participants attended training sessions on effective community organizing and strengthened inter-church collaboration for equitable public policy. This initiative promoted informed civic participation and faith-driven advocacy consistent with Mission Talk's mission of empowering towards community transformation

Organizational Capacity Building and Strategic Planning: Mission Talk invests in strategic planning and leadership development to ensure the long-term sustainability of its programs. In July 2024, the organization convened core team leaders, advisors, and pastors and church leaders, current, past, and future participants of the Justice Leadership Development program, for a comprehensive strategic planning and listening session. The meeting assessed lessons learned from the program's first year, identified capacity-building needs, and established a multi-year roadmap focused on sustainability, leadership cultivation, and collaborative partnerships. Input from community pastors shaped the resulting strategy to strengthen Mission Talk's statewide impact and alignment with its mission of faith-based community transformation.
