To foster and maintain high standards of patient care in home health, promote high standards of ethics for home health agencies, provide an organized and unified voice for home health agencies, provide for the exchange of information with those interested in home health services, interpret home health services to government bodies affecting the delivery and financing of home health services, promote consultation and dissemination of information, and initiate, sponsor and promote educational programs and research.
