Mission
The purpose of the association is to serve as the professional assocation for the nurse practitioners of the state of mississippi, providing them with continuing education, meetings and events, advocacy, and representation on both state and national boards.
Programs

The association actively promoted and communitcated the value of advanced practice roles to support nurse practitioner practice and education. Public education efforts were carried out at the state, regional and national levels to raise awareness and understanding of the nurse practitioner role. Two membership meetings were held to provide important updates and foster engagement among members. Through its website, newsletters and dedicated nurse practitioner magazine, the association continues to deliver education, training and advocacy to over 8,000 nurse practitioners who live and/or work in mississippi.
