Program services: -started working on another grant working with jackson state university and the american kidney fund targeting 4th grade students across the state of ms to teach nutrition, kidney health, and physical activity. Also, participated in multiple health pairs throughout the year to educate people about kidney disease.we also offer kidney screenings for the school staff. -continuedd a community service program called "small hands & big hearts" that involves students from across the state who pour into the lives of patients who have kidney disease to support the emotional hardships tht patients often encounter. This past year students from ridgeland (ann smith elementary) donated socks and blankets. The students at the canopy school in ridgeland donated toys to our pediatric patients and also volunteered at the holiday party at ummc. Students in canton and reuben b. Myers donated puzzle books and bags for patients to use at dialysis.
