Mission
Mississippi votes conducts voter engagement activities such as first time voter seminars, voter registration, and get-out-the-vote drives in a nonpartisan, unbiased manner without reference to any particular candidate or political party. It is an organization of intergenerational synergy centered on young people invested in mississippi's progression. The mission is accomplished through established programming and outreach strategies that empower young people, encourage civic engagement, and educate communities on voting rights through place-based grassroots organizing. In this covid era, the goal is to safely and organically reach voters, and to encourage every eligible voter in mississippi to vote and be informed at the ballot box.
