Save the children honduras:we raised and donated $35,000 for save the children honduras. This grant directly supports families. It provides agricultural support for farmers, including seeds, fertilizers, irrigation equipment and skills training; technical, admin and financial small business support; medical support for families in the southern region; and nursing school scholarships for low-income students.
Prodim in siguatepeque$10,125 dollar grant to help pay for daily lunches for underservedand/or impoverished children.
Eye and dentistry lion's club clinicsthis $8,000 grant funds 50% of the part-time salary of a hondurandentist for one year, as well as 50% of the part-time salary for an eyetechnician. The clinic is managed and supplied by the la esperanzalion's club. The club is able to raise funds to cover the remaining 50%and overhead costs and supplies. This clinic offers care for verylittle to no cost and treats thousands of patients a year.
