Missouri State Medical Assn

Msma serves as a physician advocate in missouri. In 2024, msma monitored over 700 bills before the missouri legislature. Msma's lobbyists advocated the position of the association before numerous committees on a wide array of legislation that would have an impact on physicians and their patients. Msma also represents physicians before state agencies and courts.

Msma has three major publications. "missouri medicine" is published quarterly, and serves as the association's journal. It offers articles of interest to msma members. Circulation is approximately 3,000. "progress notes" is published monthly and provides timely information on topics which will affect members' practices. Circulation is approximately 4,000. The "legislative report" is a flyer which is produced weekly during the legislative sesson. It keeps members updated on the happenings of the capitol. Curculation is approximately 3,500. Msma also publishes various brochures and pamphlets for its members.
