Seminars and a safety conference are held for members to receive information, to discuss current topics of interest in the industry and to provide recognition to members and drivers who have won various safety awards.

The missouri truck driving championships are held annually to demonstrate the professionalism of missouri commercial motor vehicle drivers by showing their ability and knowledge. The event demonstrates to the public how committed the trucking industry is to safety. The winners of each class represent the state of missouri at the american trucking association national truck driving championship.

Statewide trade association the assocation's mission is to serve the united interest of the motor carrier industry; to enhance the industry's image, efficiency, productivity and competitiveness; to promote highway safety; provide educational programs; and to promote and protect the interests of the motor carrier industry through a governmental relations program.
