Student service activities - student involvement is vital to the overall college experience. Mvc has 28 clubs and student organizations where students have the opportunity to enrich their leadership skills, social life and personal gorwth. Mvc offers a number of services to help meet students' needs through the student health center, which normally services around 733 students per semester, a counseling center and a fitness center. In addition, mvc offers a variety of intramural events, with over 600 participants, and a variety of other activities including shuttle service to local businesses and regional airports. In addition, the student success center provides resources to support the students' academic success, personal growth, and career development. A beginning student orientation program is required for all incoming students. This orientation is a sixteen-week program centered on civility, development of critical thinking skills, team building, communications skells, acceptance, and the importance of continued education in the global mindset.

Mvc offered 20 sports and 32 varsity teams during the 2023-2024 school year. The men's rodeo team won its eighth straight ozark region title, the cheer team won an eighth straight heart of america athletic conference championship, women's soccer won the program's first ever heart of american athletic conference postseason tournament, and the men's soccer team won the heart of america regular season title for the second year in a row. Men's and women's soccer, men's and women's wrestling, shooting sports, cheer, men's and women's lifting teams, men's track and field, and men's rodeo and women's rodeo teams all competed at their respective national championship events. A record 115 student-athletes were naia scholar athletes.
