Schools, Community Partners and Professional Development - Mnprov serves youth and adults by providing workshops to schools and community partners. The goals of these workshops are to increase participants' knowledge of improv, self-confidence and social connections. Professional development workshops are offered to corporations and other organizations to support communication, collaboration and creativity. MNprov served 251 students, 324 community program youth & adults, and 60 professional development participants.
MNprov Live! - MNprov Live! is an improvisation performance troupe made up of eight neurodivergent individuals who are paid for their rehearsal time and performances. Through representation rarely seen in professional theater, these performers shape culture and prove that inclusion and excellence go hand in hand. Each performer showed measurable growth in collaboration, confidence, creativity, and stage presence - and all eight remained actively engaged throughout the year. Troupe reflections show real-world skill transfer in work, communication, and confidence. 3 troupe members now serve as paid teaching assistants for MNprov Mixers, 1 troupe member manages MNprov's social media outreach. One audience member shared, "April's show was SO much fun. Attend for the humor and discover an amazing program empowering people who simply are not defined by their disabilities."
