Programs
2 programs
Kesher@moadon is an afterschool program from 3 years old to 8th grade. We have two tracks for the afternoon. (1)hebrew immersion - a program where we speak only hebrew to the children. We focus on traditions and culture. (2) hebrew focus with discussions in english. In this program we develop the students' inner connection to our traditions, observance, exposure to our culture and the tools to apply these lessons to their daily life. We foster an awareness of the richness of our historical context. We present ways to make choices which best connects the children to their jewish identity. There were 22 students enrolled in this program.
Summer camp, school event, winter break and spring break offer an opportunity to continue the language acquisition without a break. The focus is on the celebration of the holidays that fall during these periods. In other periods of time like the summer, we can devote to educate the children with general topics, physical activities, while deepening the usage of the language. The enrollment varies from program to program.
