Mission
MoCo Pride Center Inc. exists to uplift empower and serve LGBTQIA+ individuals and their families through education advocacy wellness resources and inclusive community programming. As the hub of the Montgomery County Pride Family the Center promotes equity and belonging by supporting programs that reduce stigma increase visibility and expand access to affirming services for our most underserved marginalized and disenfranchised communities.

This county-wide annual Pride festival drew over 6,000 attendees in 2023 and served as the largest LGBTQIA+ event in Montgomery County history. The event provided free access to over 120 affirming vendors local LGBTQIA+ businesses government agencies and community service providers. Through entertainment resource distribution HIV STI testing voter registration and family programming Pride in the Plaza strengthened LGBTQIA+ visibility community connections and access to vital services.
MoCo Pride Prom creates safe affirming community spaces for LGBTQIA+ youth. The program has grown from about 20 students to over 300 individuals. Pride Prom creates a safe atmosphere where you can be yourself and connect with others.
