Community Services: Lifeworks Behavioral Health division provides an array of services to support adults and transition-aged youth with ASD and co-occurring mental health conditions. Treatment services focus on resolving mental health symptoms, as well as improving emotional and behavioral management, social competency community involvement, and overall daily functioning. At intake, each service recipient receives a full psychiatric diagnostic evaluation and, if warranted, an individualized treatment plan. Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services can also be provided. ABA is the study of understanding behaviors and is widely recognized as an effective therapy for individuals of all ages on the autism spectrum. Through ABA therapy, individuals can experience meaningful improvements in socially significant areas of their lives, such as communication, daily living skills, social skills, leisure skills, vocational skills, community involvement, and academics.
