Shows and projects: the creation and performance of new productions that redefine boundaries between dance, theater, and site-specific explorations. The company creates and produces each new work entirely from its own rulebook by bringing together unlikely elements and creating unique ways for audiences to interact with dance. The company's work seeks to find humor in our awkward, everyday triumphs and failures while placing dance in new, unexpected, and often untraditional platforms. This new york city based dance company is committed to maintaining an active and ongoing performance season in nyc with presented and self-produced shows in many different neighborhoods throughout the city. These performances include fully produced shows in theaters, site specific public performances, and guest appearances in a wide variety of venues. In 2024 the company had 3 educational studio performances for new york university, lincoln center institute and pig iron theater along with workshops. There were no public nyc based performances in 2024. The company was in creative development for two different nyc based works that will be in production in 2025. From june - november they company was in development for a site-specific piece commissioned by the new york public library which will have a two week run of performances in may 2025. From november - december the company was in rehearsals for a three week run of performances at playwrights horizons, an off-broadway theater that was co-presenting the company's show many happy returns january 9-25, 2025.
