Mission

Our purpose is to better young montanans, through physical activity. Our mission is to supercharge physical education.

Programs

3 programs

Direct support of underserved sport (youth rugby) - directly supported the creation of three low-cost youth rugby programs in belgrade, billings and great falls. This provided them with playing jerseys, balls, cones and safety equipment. The cost to play was a fraction of that paid at a club sport level, making rugby accessible to all. This coincided with a relationship with adidas to provide cleats for free for those who needed it so they would be able to play.

Expenses: $78K

Coach development - hosted coaching certification courses to provide the minimum requirement certification to be able to coach youth rugby in the state. Mis then provided elite coaches to come in and raise the overall standard of rugby in montana through low-cost or free seminars, coach development platforms (hudl, teambuildr) and one-on-one mentoring.

Expenses: $38K

Tournaments and events - the great northwest challenge (gnc) is a premier select-side rugby tournament designed to identify top high school talent from across the united states. Serving as a key pathway event for usa rugby, the gnc provides elite competition, exposure to national age-grade selectors, and valuable experience in high-level play. It supports player development, strengthens regional rugby programs, and offers athletes opportunities for college recruitment and advancement into national teams and academies, making it a vital step in the american rugby high-performance pathway.
