Similar updates were made to the mopria print library so that the samsung print service could continue offering access to mopria certified products. Both the mopria print service and the samsung print service are free apps that leverage the mopria print library to give mobile devices (tablets, smart phones) the ability to print to a wide variety of consumer and business printers. The free mopria scan app was adopted by more users, allowing them to scan from a multi-function printer or scanner to their mobile device. Volunteers in the alliance from all over the world are helping to expand and maintain the mopria scan and mopria print service apps, along with the mopria print library. These individuals are also directing the activities of contractors supporting this work. Both the mopria print service and the samsung print service, containing the mopria print library, were installed for free by millions of people by the end of 2024.

Public education of mopria standards: the alliance continued refining its certified product program to ensure all devices (computers, tablets, smart phones) and a variety of consumer and business printers and scanners follow mopria alliance specifications correctly makes it easier for manufacturers to ensure their products deliver a great customer experience, as well as make it easier for consumers and business users everywhere to find and purchase products that work seamlessly. At the end of 2024, there were 9,065 certified total products of which 18 of those were servers, print accessories, and middleware representing millions of new certified devices created by 25 different companies across 32 brands. Subsequent modifications to the product certification program were made in order to support testing of ongoing specification updates. Volunteers in the alliance from all over the world helped revise, maintain, and direct contractors supporting this product certification program.
