Mission
The foundations purpose is to promote and financially support moraine valley community college programs and provide scholarship and financial assistance to students while exercising prudent investment and management of donor funds
Programs

Scholarships - the foundation provides funding and administers various academic scholarship programs for students of moraine valley community college. Scholarships are merit based and need based, and are offered college-wide or designated to provide support through a specific program or department.
Student emergency assistance - through contributions of various individual donors the foundation has implemented an emergency financial assistance program for moraine valley community college students who might otherwise be forced to stop or drop out of school. Donations of various individuals are used to pay the expenses of moraine valley community college students that are confronted with extraordinary personal living expenses that if not paid on an immediate basis would likely result in that student not being able to continue their education at the college. Financial assistance is granted to students on a case by case basis by the recomendation of the college after a review of each students circumstances surrounding the request for assistance.
Automotive program - the foundation provides direct financial support through donations in kind to the moraine valley community college automotive technology career program. Donors to the foundation contribute vehicles to the foundation which are then given to the automotive technology college program.
Faculty association - the moraine valley community college foundation assists the fundraising efforts of the moraine valley community college faculty association who raises funds to support student scholarships for moraine valley community college students to ensure access to quality education and student success.
Foundation sponsorships - the foundation regularly provides moraine valley community college ongoing support that benefit and promote increased awareness and brand building for the moraine valley community college.
Build a choir library - this program supports the moraine valley community college choral program by providing audience members with opportunities to underwrite individual songs preformed by the choir throughout the performing season. The funds from this program have supported the continued growth of the colleges choral program.
Student testing fees - the foundation provides financial assistance to the moraine valley community college for propective students that are appling for enrollment in the college.
Nm bootcamp - the moraine valley community college foundation provides funding for the creation of a health careers bootcamp introducing high school students to medical careers through an immersive, weeklong camp. The bootcamps curriculum provides hands-on training in essential health care skills like infection control, proper use of personal protective equipment and emergency response techniques. These practical experiences not only educate students but also prepare them to consider further education and careers in health care, addressing the future workforce needs.
Project care food pantry - the moraine valley foundation provides funding to expand and operate the moraine valley community college food pantry. Grant and donor contributions supported the renovation of the space and the purchase of equipment, shelving, supplies and food. The pantry serves moraine valley students and community members facing food insecurity.
Friends of the arts - the moraine valley community college foundation raises funds through friends of the arts to support the fine and performing arts center. Donantions assist with proram underwriting, equipment needs and ongoing maintenace. The center serves as a cultural resource for the region, hosting professional dance, musice and theater performances that provide artistic enrichment to the campus and surrounding community.
Percussion ensemble - the foundation supports the moraine valley community college music program by raising funds designated for percussion ensemble, concert band, jazz ensemble and related performances. These funds help cover expenses such as music commissioning, program materials and performance costs the enhance educations and artistic opportunities for student musicians.
Stem expo - the foundation provides funding for the annual stem expo, which brings more than 700 seventh-grade students from local schools to the moariane valley campus for hands-on stem activities. Donantions and sponsorships support event supplies and adminstartive costs. The program encourages interest in stem fields amoung diverse learners and provides an accessible educational experience at no cost to participants.
