Schedule O: Retail ProgramThe retail program is a social enterprise that benefits the community by providing job training for individuals with barriers to self-sufficiency and by making quality, low-cost goods available at affordable prices for individuals and families that need to stretch their budgets. The retail program provides job training for individuals with barriers to self-sufficiency in collecting, processing, merchandising, and selling donated goods. It creates jobs and economic vitality in the communities in which stores and operations are located. It also offers community members a convenient way to reuse and recycle clothing and household goods. In the year ending June 30, 2025, Goodwill's retail program operated 14 stores and an outlet store and collected donations at an additional 16 sites throughout Massachusetts. Goodwill's retail program handled 1.2 million sales transactions and reused and recycled 28.6 million pounds of donated clothing and household goods.
