Mission
We are an educational institute that prepares women of faith with the information, training, and encouragement to become more civically engaged and to contribute more fully to charitable causes within their communities and throughout the world.
Programs

Education and Spiritual Formation: Through media and educational initiatives, MWEG equipped members with resources to view faith and citizenship through a lens of peace and integrity and to access use good information in the process. The Proclaim Peace podcast, reading scripture through peacemaking principles, was downloaded more than 45,000 times. The Hope Experiment engaged hundreds of women in practicing and teaching civic hope amid polarization, supported by events featuring national speakers on nonviolent communication and relationship repair.
Advocacy Training Education: MWEG trained women to advocate ethically and effectively for issues aligned with its mission to promote peace and justice. Programs included Advocacy Academy cohorts and Day at the Capitol trainings in three states. Working groups advanced education and awareness on topics such as environmental stewardship, racial equity, immigration, and support for children and families. Highlights included the development of an anti-bullying toolkit for Utah schools, interfaith environmental collaboration in Arizona and Nevada, and service and educational visits to the U.S.-Mexico border to inform compassionate immigration policy dialogue.
