Morris County Prevention Is Key Inc

A county-wide coalition made up of an association of inddividuals and organizations that collaborate in the delivery of enviormental strategies to prevent and reduce the harmful effects of alcohol and other drugs in Morris County. The coalitions mission is to prevent and reduce substance abuse throughout the lifespan in Morris County through collaboration, education and community-wide change, giving priority to youth under the age of 18 and young adults between the ages of 18-25. Its goals are to stengthen collaboration among the Morris County prevention infrastructure and to increase citizen participation and commitment amoung all sectors of the region towards reducing substance use and abuse in Morris County.

Provide science-based prevention education programs, professional development training, advocacy, information and refferal services, and maintain the countys most extensive resource center with up-to-date materials that address issues of substance abuse, violence, alcohol, tobacco and other drug dependence and emrging issues of concern to the Morris County community.
