Mosholu Preservation Corporation

Community services: the organization purposes are exclusively charitable and for the support of montefiore health system through improving some of the social determinants of health in creating healthier communities. Mosholu preservation corporation has been a staple in the community for almost 40 years and has helped to combat community deterioration by preserving neighborhoods and building communities. Our efforts include coordinating business improvement districts, neighborhood beautification projects, and community services programs throughout the communities served by the montefiore einstein, inc.

Newspaper operations: the organization operates the norwood news (a free newspaper) to foster communication among citizens and organizations and as a catalyst for neighborhood development efforts. The norwood news is a community newspaper serving the bronx.
