Mothering across continents' (mac) mission is "adopting dreams, raising tomorrow's leaders". This mission, including the activities of the program dba newgen peacebuilders, is to inspire, facilitate, and manage programs and activities that promote and increase education and peacebuilding.

Raising south sudan (rss) this program, in place since 2011, continued humanitarian and education support in rural villages of ruweng, jonglei in south sudan, one of the world's most fragile countries. The introduction of trained teaching fellows and early childhood development specialists at k-8 primary schools maintained top five performance rankings on national exams. Continued support for merit scholars to attend high school and university garnered recognition from local, regional, and national education authorities. This was the first year that the program participated with government and other humanitarian partners in national celebrations of unity and peace.
Mentoring mwiko/pivot academy this program, focused in burera district, northern rwanda, continued expansion through collaborative support from public school stem educators in california and teams of students and professors from the college of engineering at north carolina state university. More than 6,000 teachers and students in rwanda benefited from ongoing programs in stem supplemented for the first time with continuous, intensive english as a second language. A specialized program called her peace ("herpeace") was introduced to provide feminine hygiene material coupled with self-development and leadership training. A women's agricultural project was piloted to sustainable income strategies.
