Mission
Our mission is to prevent the use of police deadly force against Black people and others from disenfranchised communities; to change deadly force policies; and practices to advocate with directly impacted families for change and to encourage social investment in human needs.

Mothers Against Police Brutality MAPB conducted a program of community education and organizing to implement the organization's mission, including webinars, panel discussions, vigils, public demonstrations, social media, and other events. Note on revenue: all program services are wholly supported by ccharitable contributions.
MAPB participated in initiatives to lift up the issue of police brutality, particularly extrajudicial killings by law enforcement officers, in international forums. MAPB provided written testimony by invitation to the Office of the High Commisisoner for Human Righst (OHCHR) and participated in a delegation of U.S. House Members and U.S. NGOs on a fact-finding and cultural exchange trip to Brazil.
