Stable housing plays a significant role in the physical and emotional well-being of mothers and children, allowing them to thrive outside of the home.
The Motherful Food Program - Food Pantry, Community Garden, Resource Garage, and Composting Program: Motherful serves our entire collective of 600 plus single mother families as well as non-members every Sunday, providing immediate access to nutritional food, a critical component of a childs physical and cognitive development. Cooking classes are also offered to empower women to prepare healthy and budget-friendly meals. The Resource Garage and Pantry are also open to members 3 days a week. Motherful hosts vendors from various resource and social services partners such as Mid-Ohio Food Collective Benefits workers, URGE reproductive health reps, and Mobile Justice pro-bono legal advisors.
