Mission
To provide performance educational professional mentoring training opportunities for college aged interns participants. In 2023 we hosted the Wayne Fisher Jazz Ensemble from Baylor University. Students performed 4 concerts in Pagosa Springs Colorado. Narrative Description of Activities of the Mountain Light Music Festival community service arts organization Overview The Mountain Light Music Festival began in July of 2015 as a one-week symposia for college students studying applied music wishing to further their intensive study with renown faculty. The week consisted of master classes rehearsals discussion forums and public performances in Pagosa Springs Colorado. Faculty hailed from The University of Houston Rice University and Baylor University. Students collectively combined to present concerts of chamber music.
