For the first time, come here to start their life in america.mujueres has received funding to address issues such as plastic pollution, watersed health, covid-related concerns and other social matters. Mujeres has been involved with this historic park for over 5 years. This is a location known for where the most dangerous gangs call their "stomping" grounds. Mujeres has been successful in working with all who visit and enjoy the park.

Mujeres de la tierra has teamed up with other organizations to provide education about restoringnative vegetation. In 2023, a grant of $730,000 was received to restore juntos park located in the city of los angeles. This restoration will take several years. Juntos park is located in northeast los angeles, which serves 100s of families who live in a very compact set of highly dense neighborhoods. Mujeres decided to focus on this wonderful green space and add very much needed amenities. Mujeres obtained funding for park improvements. After two years of person-t0-person engagement, conversations with adults and their children, a plan for the park was approved by all for a new children playground, improved amenities and safer environment for all.
