MRCs plan is to re-open the Hampden waste facility as soon as possible to begin processing waste from its 115 member communities as well as from other commercial sources in the region. To do this, in addition to working through the real estate closing, MRC would immediately move to hire at least three positions to begin actively managing the facility. We will also need significant engineering and consultant support as we restart the facilitys equipment, which has been idle for two years.
