Murray County Schools Foundation

The murray county schools foundation inc (the foundation) was formed for the sole purpose of providing supplemental financial funding support for each of the individual public schools (k-12) within the murray county board of education school district which is a public school district in the state of georgia. All funds the foundation raises, either through a fundraising event or contributions received by donors, will go predominantly to the supplemental financial support of the respective schools with the exception of a nominal amount retained for certain small recurring operating expenses of the foundation. These funds will be given to the schools in the school district based upon a needs basis to help the schools to secure the necessary funding for, but not limited to, playground equipment, extra curricular activities and fine arts equipment.
