EDUCATION AND PROGRAMS - The museum also served the community by hosting various programs including winter, spring and summer camps, numerous Boy and Girl Scout events, Early Learner programs, Outreach Programs, and competitions as part of its mission to be a cultural, educational and recreational resource for the community. In total the museum served 137,307 people in FY 2024-2025. These included 37,002 school children served through field trips and programs, 42,171 participants in public community programs, and 4,647 participants in educational outreaches and off-site engagements in 25 counties across North Florida and Southeast Georgia. 9,057 students served by MOSH in FY 2024-2025 came from Title 1 schools.

PLANETARIUM - In October 2010, the museum constructed a digital planetarium to supplement programming to further its mission of inspiring the joy of learning by bringing to life the sciences and regional history of North Florida. In FY 2024-2025 the museum presented live and produced shows to the public and school groups.
