Soundwaves youth concert seriesthe 2023-2024 soundwaves youth concert series brought the transformative power of live music to young audiences through five vibrant performances, inspiring a love for the arts while promoting student well-being and cultural awareness. Each concert showcased talented artists, with their performances professionally recorded and transformed into a free course available for schools, ensuring a lasting educational impact. Approximately 1,200 youth and their families attended these free concerts, celebrating diverse musical traditions in an engaging, community-centered atmosphere. Attendees received goodie bags with activities designed to deepen their musical experience, extending the event's educational and cultural value. Through soundwaves, music workshop continues to empower students, foster creativity, and build meaningful connections within the community.
Professional developmentmusic workshops professional development program was developed to equip educators with the tools and knowledge needed to integrate music into their classrooms effectively, fostering student and teacher well-being and cultural responsiveness.
