Ymca camp pendalouan - this separate camping facility on big blue lake near montague, michigan serves summer campers, provides outdoor education for local schools and hosts retreats and rentals. With a commitment to nurturing the potential of children and teens, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. Ymca camp pendalouan provides financial assistance to approximately 40% of summer campers as well as several outdoor education students.

Water safety instruction - realizing the need for drowning prevention as a social responsibility, the muskegon ymca utilizes partnerships to provide vital water safety education year round to students and families. Education is provided both in the classroom and in the pool and covers safety lessons such as life jackets, beach safety, pool safety, ice safety. Reminding participants to 'reach - throw - don't go 'never swim alone'.
