Mission
Muslim American Society- Social Services Foundation MAS-SSF provides mental health services peer support clinical and case management as well as community education programs focused on the Muslim community Mental health support services are provided via in-person in-office counseling and peer support services tele-support through a youth warm line Amala Hopeline and through telephone referrals and case management MAS-SSF also supports a domestic violence shelter for Muslim women Amanah House providing support and services in 6 different languages MAS-SSF also provides services for seniors with various educational and social activities Al-Afia for Seniors meant to decrease isolation and prevent depression and anxiety Senior programs are offered in our office as well as various mosques and community sites MAS-SSF also helps empower youth to become knowledgeable in mental health issues and provides training in peer counseling Shifa for Youth
