Act label for laboratory products: my green lab launched the first ecolabel for laboratory products, the my green lab act ecolabel, in 2017. By the end of 2024, more than 2,240 act ecolabels had been published. My green lab revised and update the standard, releasing act 2.0 standard during the year, following international best practices and guided by a technical committee of experts in sustainable products, life cycle assessment, and environmental certification. My green lab also initiated a pilot program to gather feedback from industry partners.my green lab is responsible for maintaining and updating the act standard and for providing marketing and educational support. Impact laboratories leads business development for the act label, and verico serves as the third-party certification body conducting third-party product certifications under the act standard.

Green lab outreach: my green lab provides clear and accessible information to the global scientific community about best practices for sustainability in laboratories. In 2024, my green lab reached nearly 64,000 people through newsletters, recruited 8,500 ambassadors across 70 countries, and presented at more than 100 global conferences and events, including the un conference of parties (cop29). The my green lab global summit, an annual virtual event, hosted 1,600 participants from around the world.

My green lab advocacy and education: in its fifth year, the international freezer challenge engaged 3,000 laboratories representing 239 research institutions worldwide. Participants achieved a combined energy savings of 31.8 million kwh per year.participation in the my green lab accredited professional (ap) program, the world's first in-depth education program on green lab principles, grew from 50 participants in 2023 to 235 by the end of 2024. My green lab develops the ap curriculum and provides marketing and educational support, while impact laboratories issues ap certificates to participants upon successful completion.
