My neighbor assists individuals in the community by promoting self- sufficiency or returning people to self-sufficiency by: extending help through information (education) and referrals, providing financial assistance, and connecting those in need with other existing resources. The organization is supported primarily though grants and contributions by the local united way, area churches, and local individuals and businesses.
