Nami clackamas is a grassroots non-profit organization providing free mental health education, support and advocacy delivered by people with lived experience to improve quality of life for everyone in our community.
Programs
3 programs
Peer resource connection services (perc) pairs a person affected by mental illness with another trained individual with experience in mental illness to work one-on-one to identify community resources, apply for programs that they may qualify for including reduced and free medications, and offer the support and insight of a person who has similar life experiences.
Support groups are free, drop in, peer-led groups for adults living with mental illness and those who love and care about them. Participants gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others. Groups are led by nami-trained facilitators who have experiences similar to those who are attending.
Organization is committed to improving the quality of life of those afflicted with mental illness.
