Education: NAMI offers education programs including the evidence-based NAMI Family-to-Family 8 week course, the Survivors of Suicide Loss 8 week course, community forums with subject-area experts, and the NAMI Ending the Silence youth program. 2024 Education Attendance Family to Family: 41 Survivors of Suicide Loss: 34 Community Education Forum: 60 Ending the Silence: 250

Advocacy: NAMI advocacy efforts include working with individuals, families, and the community around the rights of those with mental health conditions and supporting just and equitable policies and practices. NAMI serves on a variety of committees in the region with the goal of mental health access for all. Public Awareness: Part of ensuring mental health access for all means ending stigma for those seeking help. NAMI provides information to the community that goes beyond data and statistics to include sharing the stories of those with lived experience and making meaningful connections.
